For this purpose, people exchange information known as ref-nodes. They can connect, when both have the ref-nodes of each other. Naturally those arn't anonymous to each other. They should even trust each other, that the other won't tell anyone else, that they both use freenet. Even though they should trust each other, publishing and reading is still anonymized against even the trusted connections, but in a country where even running freenet might be illegal, you should be really sure to know your trusted peers. Sadly it isn't a piece of cake to exchange ref-nodes with trusted peers in the physical world at the moment, because you won't have them handy, when you meet someone. Or at least that was the case until now. To ease that problem I created Freenet-Cards, which contain your personal Information and your ref-node. They have been created in Scribus and you need to modify them for your own use, but since scribus is free software avaible on all major platforms, you can get one without difficulties.English2006 Freenet CommunityFreenet-Cardshttp://127.0.0.1:8888/USK%40wptdE7H1DsHd1SHsL-J5LoyYha8Nx3oje5yhusNT7rA,-iyrzP61KoWdQDK2omI7GgV~65mwGfWtDnbi1uzp0xc,AQACAAE/freenet-cards/8/activelink.pnghttp://127.0.0.1:8888/USK%40wptdE7H1DsHd1SHsL-J5LoyYha8Nx3oje5yhusNT7rA,-iyrzP61KoWdQDK2omI7GgV~65mwGfWtDnbi1uzp0xc,AQACAAE/freenet-cards/8/>Tue, 03 Jun 2007 08:54:35 GMThttp://blogs.law.harvard.edu/tech/rss#1007 is out!http://127.0.0.1:8888/USK%40wptdE7H1DsHd1SHsL-J5LoyYha8Nx3oje5yhusNT7rA,-iyrzP61KoWdQDK2omI7GgV~65mwGfWtDnbi1uzp0xc,AQACAAE/freenet-cards/8/Freenet-Cards now has an RSS-Feed!
